MICHAEL FRANCIS (he/him) has spent 20 years in non profit and commercial theater as a multi-hyphenate theater administrator specializing in fundraising, general management, talent representation and producing. He has had the privilege of being part of the teams at Producer Hub (501c3)and Octopus Theatricals, both companies founded and visioned by multi Tony and Grammy award winning arts leader, Mara Isaacs.
Currently as Producing Director of Producer Hub, Michael has had the privilege of supporting independent and creative producers, culture bearers, arts entrepreneurs and social justice organizations.
Michael spent over 5 years as a Tentacle at Octopus Theatricals playing a critical role in the development and producing of theater, opera, performance installation through contract negotiation and agreement drafting, season planning, individual giving and grant making, annual audit management, management of compliance requirements as well as audience and education development initiatives. Notable projects: Dianne McIntyre’s In The Same Tongue, Bill Irwin’s On Beckett, Theatre Mitu’s Utopian Hotline, DeLanna Studi’s And So We Walked- amongst others.
He spent over a decade with Fiasco Theater and as a part of the staff of Leading Artists, Inc. a boutique talent agency in NYC.
