Carmel Clavin is a singer storyteller creating immersive theatrical experiences around the globe for audiences both immense and intimate.
A creative alchemist & performer from the US, she has made the larger World her home with a gothic soul cabaret voice & a mind to entangle hearts. Founder of the Spectacle & Mirth production haus, she builds internationally award winning immersive projects such as City Liminal, The Marvelous Mechanical Music Maiden, Journey to the Kingdom of Hypnos, the Reverie Rooms and is the founding creative director at Révéler Experiences.
Beyond being the founder & directrix of the Richmond Fringe, she works in the global festival industry as Outreach Manager for the World Fringe Network. She turns her travels into bite sized tales on The GlamourHobo Field Notes podcast & substack, and joyfully co-created the boutique pop-up venue, The Luminous Spiegelyurt.
An overly complicated Venn Diagram of adjacent identities, Carmel tours the world, tells stories, and plays wearable musical inventions. This vaudevillian loves to sing too loud, smash class structures, and wear grand hats.
